Sten migrated from Sweden changed the family name to Stone when they moved to America. Stone studied at Sequoya Elementary School for some time but later transferred to Cocopah Middle school, in Phoenix Arizona for her sixth grade.
As a kid growing up, Stone used to suffer from panic attacks, which messed with her social skills. Unfortunately, therapy could not help little Emma’s condition. Luckily, for her, attending local theater plays played a significant role in curing her panic attacks. Emma’s interests in acting started growing at a tender age. When only four years old, she was interested in acting, she wanted to be a sketch comedian. Later on, she tried out a musical theater, taking various voice lessons for some years. She played her debut role in acting in a stage production called “The Wind in the Willows.”
Stone’s journey to becoming the successful actress she is today was never simple. She encountered rejections at auditions, but she kept dreaming. She auditioned various TV roles including Nickelodeon’s All That, but she wasn’t successful. Thanks to her supportive parents, she was able to attend private acting lessons. Emma Stone also joined Xavier College as a fresher student and dropped out after completing only one semester. She left to follow her acting dreams. In a PowerPoint presentation entitled Project Hollywood, she convinced her parents to let her follow her acting dreams in Hollywood.
Emma’s story is one full of persistence and perseverance. After getting rejections of every single Disney Channel show she auditioned for, she attended high school classes online and worked at a dog treat bakery shop on part-time.

Emily Stone made her debut on TV on “In Search of the New Partridge” which was a reality show back in 2004. Winning the position led her to many roles in the following years including a guest appearance in TV series Luck Louie.
In 2007, she portrayed the role of Violet Trimble in an action drama series called Drive. However, the show never exceeded the first seven episodes. The same year, Emily Stone played Jules in Superbad, a comedy directed by Greg Mottola. The film stars Jonah Hill( Seth) and his best friend, Michael Cera( Evan) as two co-independent high school friends who encounter separation anxiety after their plans to lose their virginities in a party fail. In Superbad, Emma Stone plays Jules a red head who is also Jonah Hill’s love interest. Playing the role introduced her to
the eyes of movie fans around the world earning her the “New Exciting Face.” award. Between 2008 and 2016, she starred in various movies including; The Rocker (2008), Kieran and Michelle Mulroney’s Paper Man, The House Bunny, Ghosts of Girlfriends pasts, Paperman, iPhone Murder Apps (2010), Easy A (2010), The Amazing Spiderman (2012), The Amazing Spiderman 2(2014), Aloha (2015), Irrational Man (2015) and the long list continues.

She is prefers living a normal lifestyle with media attention intruding. Again, she loves acting and cites Diane Keaton her life inspirations. Emma values her family a lot. In fact, she claims that she is lucky to have a family that always watches out for her, and is ready to correct her in case she goes the wrong way. She is asthmatic, while her mother survived breast cancer in 2008.
